X VS INDIANS

X formally known has Twitter was once a place were users could laugh, interact, have fun and generally be at ease has over time become a cesspool of radicallism , violence, and hate. If you pay close attention you would have notice this shift over the years. Today it is on full blown display.

X hates Indians. The platform itself pushes into the algorithim negative and hateful rhetoric about indians. Indians are a large number of our Asain Americans and perform very well when it comes to GDP and income. Asians in America are the highest household income and that should be applauded and replicated. But with success comes victims and with victims comes envy. India like alot of countries suffer from overpopulation , lack of jobs and misguided leadership. America which for the past Century has been a beacon of The American dream , if your talented smart and hardworking you can make it here. That has been the moto. Though India has mass poverty they also have many talented and hardworking people.

H1B visa is a visa is a non immigrant visa used for companies to outsource work and find talent outside of the US for a cheaper cost. The largest holders of H1b Visas are Indians and because indians are talented in STEM , and the constant pressure of being in a lottery system make tham very valuable to US companies. H1B visa is also a way for immigrants to become a US citizen and certain demographic of people on X despise this .

The X algorithim within the past couple of years has began to ramp up vidoes and post with negative sterotypes about indians . I am not saying that some of those post hold no validity, what I am saying is there is no dichotomy. Everything on X regarding Indians is negative , they post videos of impoverished Indians in India throwing poop, they are happy that the Indian birth rate is down and quoting post about this with dance memes, They post constant indian hate with clickbate content to enrage people, they are happy that the government is stoping H1b visa from India for the rest of the year. Why blame Indians and not the companies Indians are meeting the H1B steep criteria . These repetitive negative publications of Indians have a long lasting effect on peoples mind especially those that are radicalized. And I believe its done on purpose.

Narratives are built on social media and X is the best platform to build narratives and they can have deadly consequences. A group of people shouldn't be singled out and attacked with fear mongering that feeds the radicals. Recently and a 28 year old Indian Pizza Delivery driver was shot and killed. Lured into an alley by a fake pizza delivery and murdered. This is a direct result of harmful rhetorics. This is a cycle that continuous and no one seems to care. When you build narratives around a group of people and galvanizes a nation to hate that people and then take action on those groups , what does that sound like?

If we can keep this in our mind that these things are being fed to us and have compassion for others we will be able to grow as a society and tackle real issues.
